My first attempt at square foot gardening
So I'm going to try and start most of my plants from seeds , if everything goes well it should fill my planned 20ftx4ft plot and then a little extra .Unfortunately since $$ is a little tight we cannot buy the proposed soil to fill it, but we are going to try and get something a little less expensive almost as good, some compost from a rock place down the street. The soil we buy from there will be amended throughout the season with worm castings that we are going to raise ourselves from the worm bin Mikes' (YAY MIKE!!! ) going to build from directions we found online.
These are White lisbon scallions These are my other seedlings Both of these starter seeds are currently in my kitchen as it is the warmest spot in the house and I can tend to them easily where they are .
